Telediabetology is based on the systems of telemonitoring. A telediabetology system regularly records the vital parameters (e.g. blood glucose, weight, body fat, activity, pulse, blood pressure, oxygen saturation and ECG data) that ideally can be collected at any time and at any place. All collected data generates the data basis for individual therapy recommendations as well as for the monitoring of their application status and success.
