The mainstreaming of the gender perspective is identified as the process to ensure the incorporation of the gender perspective in order to assess the implications for women and men of any action that is programmed, in the case of legislation, public policies, activities administrative, economic and cultural in public and private institutions. It is expected that the effort to advance in the gender equality be integral and affects all levels of an organization. The gender approach must be applied in all policies, strategies, programs, administrative and economic activities and even in the institutional culture of an organization, to truly contribute to a change in the situation of gender inequality in our society.
